We have completed the mechanical and chrome portions of this total restoration of a 1973 850 Eldorado, but got stalled when it came time to pick a color for the painter to use. Here's our dilemma, this Eldorado started out life as a civilian model, but the previous owner collected lots of POLICE model parts, so it now has all new or rechromed POLICE handle bars, POLICE crash bars, with POLICE sidestand, POLICE floorboards and POLICE foot controls, we have in stock the correct POLICE dash and POLICE speedometer, rechromed headers and new POLICE mufflers, as well as a complete set of good body work ready to turn over to the painter. We just couldn't agree on the color scheme, a nice POLICE two tone in black with white fenders, a JAZZY version of the same POLICE theme but using rich metallic black and a pearl custom white, or an ORIGINAL Factory layout, like all black or deep RED with White fenders............then again there's the complete custom paint route......... You see the problem, don't you? Well here's one more option: you finish the painting step yourself, or commission us to take it to paint with your colors and design. We have this bike on display in our showroom if you'd like to see it in person, or give us a call or email if you'd like to discuss this idea and get this bike finished! The pictures do show a rear fender installed, that was done to facilitate doing the wiring.
