Beautifully equipped, exceptionally well maintained, one adult owner silver and black Moto Guzzi V11 EV California with ALL the right touring accessories. Start off the list of creature comforts with floorboards for both passenger and rider. The custom touring saddle continues to pamper, it's a famous Ned's Comfort Seat with large matching passenger backrest. Of course there is an OEM luggage rack and a centerstand, as well as heel and toe shifter and brake pedal designed to work with those floorboards. Touring luggage is pure Guzzi OEM by Hepko-Becker saddle bags on locking quick detach mounts with matching OEM touring trunk, also with locking quick detach mount by Hepko Becker. Rounding out this deluxe touring package is an H&H fairing by Harpers Moto Guzzi, custom striped to match the bike's gleaming original factory paint and striping. One look at this machine lets you know that the owner was both proud of his ride and picky about it's up-keep.
Moto Guzzi has put its big V-twins across the frame since the design debuted in 1967, so both air-cooled cylinders are equally cooled by the wind and the drive train doesn't have to turn a corner to deliver power to the final drive shaft. This brawny beauty is powered by a 1064cc engine with 90-degree V-angle allowing the engine to operate smoothly without need of balancers or rubber mounts. EFI chores are done by a stoic and reliable Weber Marelli Electronic. A five speed gear box and a dry clutch direct power through the drive shaft at the rider's command. The stout 45mm Marzocchi fork is quite beefy, and offers the rider adjustments for damping on both compression and rebound. A steering damper and dual WP damper units in the rear also permit you to tailor the ride to your requirements. Triple, four-piston caliper BREMBO brakes stop special wire-spoke wheels with tubeless tires. This was the first year that Guzzi added proportional integrated braking—where the brake pedal operates on one front disk and the rear. This system "senses" each wheel share of the load and divides braking force accordingly.
The V11 EV has a unique combination of Italian flare and styling matched to practical touring and performance. The five gallon fuel tank delivers decent range at legal speeds with great looks. The two tone paint sings in a lusty Italian harmony, while counter pointed by gleaming chrome accents. The tubeless wheels are wrapped by elegant deeply valanced fenders.
For the rider looking for a classic Italian long distance mount, this Guzzi, at $3,599, puts touring in style with in a very affordable reach.
